Our Story

Mission Statement & History

AlleyCat's Pet Service, Inc.'s goal and mission is simple — to care for all pets with love, accuracy, and thoughtfulness, keeping in mind their individual personalities, needs, and challenges in the comfort of their own homes.

ACPS was not supposed to be what it is today! 400+ clients, a tight-knit team of amazing sitters, and eleven years later was not what owner Allison (Alley) had in mind when she started her little pet sitting business in September of 2011 — it was just to get by after being laid off from her marketing position.

Even as a young child, Alley has been rescuing, fostering, adopting, and caring for animals of all kinds. One Facebook post changed everything. One client led to another, and by March of 2012, she needed help — and that's where our dream team of West Orange County's best pet sitters was born!

Initial meeting with a potential client to go over the details of caring for their home and pets prior to departure.

Fish Bowl Visit

Ideal for fish bowls or tanks. Includes feeding, water top-off, and magnet tank cleaning.

Shy Cat Visit

For very shy cats who hide or don't enjoy much interaction. Includes feeding, medication (if quick), litter cleaning, water refresh, mail pickup, plant watering, and TLC if kitty is receptive.

Ideal for birds, rabbits, small rodents, and reptiles. Includes tank/cage tidy-up, feeding, watering, and mail pickup.

Home Visit — No Pets

Home visit to adjust lights and blinds, and bring in mail and packages. Cannot be scheduled when pets are present in the home.

Holiday Surcharges

The following surcharge applies to visits scheduled on major holidays: Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving (and the day after), Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day.

  • 30-min visits: +$5
  • 1-hour visits: +$10
  • Overnight visits: +$20
